Iv’e been visiting my mom and my friends down south.
Me and my mom  also went to Oslo where I Recived 2 Diplomas/highly commended for two of my photos in the Photographer Of The year competition in Norway.
Then back to Tromsø, for a quik stop.
Then down to Oslo again with Rune Larsen my favorite Art director at Reform Studio  ,doing some photoshoots, one of the photos you can see in VG tomorrow (Norwegian newspaper)
Working on some different prodjects, 2 of them are more like a new art/conceptual series.
I’ve tanken some promo photos of this fantastic band called Mara And The Inner Strangeness (check out their music!), for their new album and Im pretty happy with the results. Love working with people who are creative and full of inspiration.

Then I had my mom visitting, really nice weekend, with good food,going crazy at the fleamarked found me some really vintage dresses.
And my mom gave me a handbag that she has made.. Really beautiful!! She has started to design her own purses and handbags. They are really uniqe and special.
Im gonna make a own blog post with pictures and about the handbags.
It’s possible for you to purcase one lovely handbag specially designed for you.
Just gonna take some photos of the bag, so I’ll come back to that later.

My mom <3

Exept from that, i’ve mainly been working my ass off.
And enjoying the spring, and the midnight sun.
I love this time of year, here in Tromsø we have the minight sun commin around 17 of may, and it never gets dark.. LOVE IT!! It gives me really boost!!

Ooo almost forgot, my new Camera!! Nikon D800. I Have to say, im in love!
I had my D300 since I bought it in 2008. It started to getting sick on me.. And on a time that I had alot of photoshoot.
And the camera has a really big waiting list.
But I got som really nice friends that helped me out.

Er det ikke et vakkert brudepar?
Som fotograf er det utrolig gøy å kunne komme til slike resultater og at man har truffet etter ønske på hva brudeparet ønsker seg.
Jeg føler meg utrolig heldig som fikk lov til å fotografere på den store dagen deres.
Ikke minst at stilmessig passet det i blinken, jeg simpelten elsker 50 tallet og Hollywood looken.
Hvem synes du dem ligner på?
Jeg får litt Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Clarke Gable, Mad Men blandet med Sopranos.

Til det tekniske for dem som skulle være int i det.
Så var dette første gangen jeg brukte den nye Octaboxen min…
Å har ikke noe mer å si, at Im in love… Måten den modelere lyset er helt fantastisk.
Så her har jeg stor sett  brukt Elinchrome sin Octa 175 cm  kombinert med raster eller beauty dish.

Var å inket kroppen min i går… letter sagt halve leggen min… Skal poste bilde av tattoveringen når den er ferdig. Så derfor går det hardt på smertetillende i dag.

Endelig ute av den kreative tørke periode!! wiii!!
Har endelig kommet et steg videre med bildene jeg tok i november.. Å ser ut til at det kan bli en liten serie..

Little late but alot of new pix and update

Happy new year.. Yeah I know im a bit late.. But these last week I’ve been packed up with moving and getting settled in our new home.
Well what’s happend since last time..

I had my parents here for christmas. And I got some really cool gifts! I love gift, that have some special thought behind it.

Look at this cooool tiny camera buttons I got from my lovely fiance.
It’s gonna look soo awsome on with my dress!

And with those nice buttons.. This is gonna look hawt into this bling bling tie I’ve got from my mom and stepfather.

I also got a print of a painting that my grandfather painted.Do you see who it is?

Moving, and i really &%#!” hate it. The only thing positive with moving is you get to throw away alot of shit.

I also got published in Digital Camera Magazine in January, the picture i got the fifth place in the Photographer of the year 2011. I’m pretty satisfied with that.

I also writing on a story… Can’t say so much about it, but it’s gonna be pretty personal. So you just have to wait

I getting to be a sucker for baking and making chocolate theese days.. And getting pretty good at it to Who would have guess that.. Me baking..

Enough about baking, christmas and moving. And Im getting tired writing in english
So I rather show you some wedding pictures I took in December.
We where suppose to take the pictures outside, but the bride and groom got sick.
But i think we got the winter wedding mood in the picture of the wedding couple.
And the pictures with the bestman and bridemaid more standard classic look.

Endelig fått litt tid til å se igjennom litt bilder igjen av tidligere shoot jeg hadde i September med 2 flotte modeller etter heftig mye jobbing i det siste og ikke hatt tid til å jobbe med bilder fra tfp shoot og egne prosjekter.

Har også i disse dager 2 av mine mer crazy bilder utstilt på Galleri Julies Hage her i Tromsø. Utstillingen har utrolig mye spennende fra fler kunstere som virkelig er verdt å ta seg turen å se og kanskje du finner noe å putte under juletreet

I mai fikk jeg en mail redaktøren i Digital Camera Magazine I England at de skulle plukke ut de beste bildene fra Photographer Of The Year konkurransen 2010.
Der jeg ble blandt de heldige som ble shortlistet av i katagorien Fashion.
Desverre fikk jeg aldri kjøpt bladet når denne artikkelen og bildet mitt kom ut i bladet Så hvis det er noen av dere der ute som har kjøpt det Digital Camera Magazine som bildet mitt er i, ta kontakt! Så kjøper jeg det!

Men i dag morrest fikk jeg en beskjed fra min foto venn Håvard Flatten at han hadde kjøpt et svensk fotomagasin her om dagen og sett bildet mitt.
Så jeg rakk såvidt å våkne før jeg var ute av døra løpende ned på Narvesen å overfalt bladhyllene. Mannen bak kassa stirret meget rart på meg for å si det slik..

Uansett det var utrolig arti overraskelse og boost!
Spesielt hvis man er inne i en periode der man tenker over hva fan er det man driver med egentlig. Å hvorfor driver man på med det her..

Weddings

Yes I do that to, but I don’t take more than 4-5 weddings shoot in the year.

1. Because I put alot of work and efford in them
2. If you want ordinary weddings pix, well im not the right photographer to do that. So
(usually the couple’s that contact me don’t want that )
3. And when it comes to booking me, It have to be at least 4 months befor the actually wedding day.
4. I always have a assistant with me, and the good ones don’t grow on trees. So that one of the things In good time before the date.
5. Scouting location, take picture of the location, details planning, picture of the wedding dress,picture of the groom dress, meeting with the couple, and the list goes on!

Anyway, here are a taste from two of the weddings I have photograph this fall.
The first couple is Torill and Øystein taken on the boat Polstjærna
Here I switch between , natural, studio light I used Octabox, and grid.
To get the different look and mood.

The second couple I actually took behind my flat in this lovely wood I have here.
I had waiting for the right wedding couple to contact me. Because I had this location on my notebook for some time. And when Stine and Bjørn Hugo contacted me, we met up and when I heard how kind of theme/look they wanted. I knew this was the perfect location.
Alot of work behind this shoot, setting up the electricity (I dont have a portable kit). Calling the police and the fire department, because we used  a huge smoke machine, so if some of the neighbours believed there was a fire going on, and start calling in. The police and fire department could inform them it’d just a crazy girl taking photos
